교수소개
2012년 서울대학교 재료공학부에서 학사학위를 취득하였다. 그 후 미국으로 건너가 매사추세츠 공과대학(MIT) 재료공학부 고분자공학 전공(Program in Polymers and Soft Matter)으로 2017년 박사학위를 취득하였다. 박사과정기간동안 MIT 화학과 Timothy Swager 교수의 지도로 Conjugated Polymers and Designed Interfaces: Conformational Analysis and Applications 이라는 제목으로 박사학위논문을 작성하였다. 졸업 후 2년반 동안 (2017년 8월 - 2020년 2월) 캘리포니아대학교 버클리캠퍼스(University of California, Berkeley) 화학과에서 박사후연구원으로 재직하였다. 이 기간 동안 Matthew Francis 교수의 지도하에 site-selective protein modification, protein-polymer hybrid materials, metal-chelating ligands on polymeric materials 등 다양한 고분자 및 단백질 소재의 화학적 합성 및 변형에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 2020년 3월 단국대학교 고분자시스템공학부 고분자공학전공 조교수로 부임하였다.
